Here's a classic Borso from the post war era. Nice hand with a superfine pounce and a new sweatband installed by BSHW. This chocolate felt is thin and malleable.
Fits a larger 6 7/8 regular oval and the circumference measures in at 21 7/8" so almost a 7 (and it wouldn't take much to get it...
Nice find, Bob. I have a silver longhair with those same markings made between 1917-1919 if I remember right. Yours was originally sold just 2 hours North of where we live. The pacific troller my dad owned was moored in Anacortes. Burl Ives lived there until he died in 1995.
Cream "Sterling Beaver" from Barclay - has 30's proportions though I have doubts about it being that old. As far as I know we don't have a Barclay thread. May need to remedy that!
