Stefan @steur and I completed a trade last month and the box arrived this morning:
Obviously, I was a little worried...
but it turned out alright afterall
This series will be a treat! For those new to the lounge make sure to watch for Steve's posts. He has one of if not THE best collection of Pre-1940 hats on the lounge. Many of them are from JHS which gets my vote for the best velour maker Earth has produced.
@belfastboy feel free to email / call both and ask. I wasn't referring to wait times as the OP mentioned he's in no hurry. However I am referring to the best quality refurbs one can get and in my experience these are it.

Indeed and I do wish the brim wasn't so wide but its too pristine an example to renovate. Hoping one of our size 7 brethren will adopt this beauty. Perhaps @steur or @jlee562 maybe even @alanfgag ;)
Thanks for the comments, gents. The 2 5/8" brim is a bit much for my frame so this beauty is for sale in the classifieds:

Its not often that I sell a hat the same day it was received but the simple fact of the matter is 2 5/8" of brim is too much for my frame. So I'm passing it on here before listing on Ebay.
I paid $217 and change including shipping and state tax to acquire this NOS piece...
