wow you've put in a lot of work already. How's the thickness of the CXL? Some days I wish my Sheene was just a little lighter to make it more every day friendly, but I will say with time it's gotten a lot better.
super well done. Doesn't have the usual neck lines on that pattern that a lot of us have. Don't know if it's luck of the draw, your body type, combo of the leather and pattern, etc. etc. but in any case, it makes it that much better to have that really clean silhouette with this kind of style...
Nice! I do something very similar. More as a consultant nowadays, but I used to be the "whisperer" between the techie people and the people who just wanted to make things bigger, faster, better.
Yep. I know it's stupid to equate happiness with possessions. And trust me, I am super aware that I am blessed to afford some of these things. I never take it for granted. It still feels gluttonous from time to time. So I'm going to go through a period of enjoying what I got and not as much...
I know it will pain me often and I will no doubt regret, but this jacket is sold. The person who bought it is going to absolutely crush it. If he ever posts fit pics, you'll see why I was willing to let it go to him.
Now I feel less gluttonous and hopefully can just enjoy the pics without the...
You are one of my enablers. You posted J24L that put me over the edge. The pale rider and this is just pure fire. I need to hide my wallet when I start going through these threads.
Some of you saw this on my IG https://www.instagram.com/p/CkOZSOBJOno/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
But for those not on it, here it is. After seeing a few of you post your rmc j24l and j24 past few weeks, I couldn't resist anymore. Been on my wish list for couple years. Search for black d pocket...
data, birds of a feather. Can't tell you how much of this Beautiful Mind crazy rabbit hole crap I do too. Well done!
on your last point about how TB measures. Don't quote me on this, but I feel pretty confident about it. They pull on the leather and take the measurement. So you're...
LOL, I blame you. You started me on this commando path.
Yeah, unless a really worthy person comes along, I guess this one is going back into the closet. The nice thing is it's already broken in. Previous owner did most of the work, and I just sort of finished it off. So I don't feel as...
Love it. For my own preferences, I could do without the vertical zipper pocket. But that's my personal taste. Nothing wrong with what you put together here.
thanks, guys. I know, I know.
Now that my covid stay at home boredom phase is over and I've had time to sift through all the stuff I've bought over the past couple of years, I just need to prioritize and make some tough decisions. More importantly, I just have to stay off these damn...
Not super motivated to sell this, so lets see how it goes. Might only get a bump or two and then I'm going to take it as a sign from God LOL. But I've bought a few jackets over the summer and really need to stick to my one in and one out. My other one sold in like 4 hours lol, so lets see...
I'd say you're just on the edge of crossing over to too tight. If you were maybe 5lbs lighter, I think that would be perfect fit and give you a little bit of leeway. It's still ok, but any sort of weight gain and I think you'll be out of the safety range.
That turned out great. I've thought many many times of doing the same with my lightning but I've had enough bad tailor experiences to scare me. Plus, part of me thinks, the boxy look is signature Lewis, so do I really want all my jackets looking the same? But I also think for a racer, it...
that's a great fit. If that's why you selling because you think you need smaller, big mistake imo.
edit: keep wearing. The loss you taking will be the same with another 100 wears and the jacket might surprise you with time. We just getting to proper weather in any case.
lol. Yeah, the insert they include looks seriously legit. I'm going to try and fight that fight and avoid because the Heritage Boots pair I have coming will be my 3rd pair of cowboy boots. I don't even see that many people wearing them in Austin, so imagine when I'm back in LA. Think I got a...
nice. I'm in Austin right now for 1 more day. Was thinking about going by the Chisos store. Kind of afraid to because it's the last thing I need. I already got something on order from Heritage Boots and really trying hard to not go down yet another rabbit hole.
