    China-made G-1 jacket

    Not the same color. Real MIL-J-7823 (AER) darker then Chinese. Although everything can be distorted by the color reproduction of the photo and the calibration of the monitor. My G-1 of this specification has different darker color not same as on the Chinese web.

I had several N3b (USAF originals) and the truth is that this jacket (as and N3A) in real cold weather pilots was worn over warmed pants (or over warm flight suits).     N3B not for Finland winter IMO, If only wear warmed pants with. Anyway, it's pretty short for real cold winter and if you wear jeans (not warm flight overalls or flight pants wih this jacket), then the cold wind will get to your values in your pants ;)

    Philipp, do not worry about the sleeves length please. They do not shorten too much after wrink. Here are my Star's sleeves after 3 months of wearing (its last week pics). All is OK. Your Star looks perfectly and fits you well. Good luck!

    If it does not squeaking, then this is a great success and this is a comfortable jacket. I sold my same one Brill a few years ago due to the fact that it squeaked "like a flock of seagulls" ((c) Atticus Finch)
