Never heard of fake Vansons, is that a thing? The seller seems to have a fine rating. As far as the label goes, it could just be a misprint/shobby stitchwork. Leather quality can vary heavily, and these pics haven't been taken in the best lighting with the best camera available. I really hope...- mendelboaz

While it is a gorgeous jacket, IMO it is way overpriced. You can get a custom Langlitz tailor made for under $2000 in a variety of leather options, including their heavyweight cowhide which will probably be plenty heavy for most people. I don't think any custom leather option is worth paying...- mendelboaz

I contacted the seller. Back length is 22.5", sleeves are 25.5", pit to pit looks to be 19", but not entirely sure judging by the picture I was sent. Gorgeous jacket. If not for the small chest size, I'd join the bidding war that is sure to emerge.- mendelboaz

Vanson Comet 40
Vanson increased the standard back length a couple years ago! My modern Comet size 40 is 23.5" in the back. I had a vintage size 38 that was 20.5".- mendelboaz

The C2 has an inside label! The Highwayman, however, does not. It looks pretty old. The patina is amazing, and the jacket is completely broken in.
