uswings obstacle course
the uswings is a very nice jacket in the signature a-2, which has all the military spec features of a ww2 issue...the cut is a little different, but still the slimmer milspec squared off shape (though their sizing does run large)
the black label is totally not what...

well, i've bought jackets from lewis, eastman and aero...all superb companies...here's what i found>>>
Lewis...ordered through them, checking via emails prior...all issues were dealt with beautifully, and the jacket was superb...i did end up selling it to a great guy on ebay who is...

hi all...been enjoying my eastman...in fact it's become the only jacket i've been wearing...may have to get rid of everything else except the military jackets, like a-2s and g-1s, as i simply cannot see wearing anything else but this piece

ooops, i looked again, sharper eyes above named it as the F82 by gibson and barnes...the tell tale being the side entry pockets on the front, next to the patch pockets...
not an historic jacket, but something g and b came up with, still a nice price for sure

howdy...i just know from being such a luftwaffe jacket maniac that prim and ri ri were the zip and snap makers for the actual jackets made in germany and purchased by the luftwaffe pilots during ww2...i know the replicators (from so so to the superb like eastman) use these...
"action back" and "bi swing"...both phrases with different meanings from those horrific 70's
as for how to pick a jacket, mr. ray, if i could have it all to do over again, i'd have chosen my first jacket by deciding what i liked from looking at all sorts of jackets here, ebay, and the net...
you can never be too...
assuming that statement is about the missing leather strip on this jacket
actually, my new eastman luftwaffe jacket has about 2" of leather all the way around...but they may have just ended the lining 2" higher...but many jackets i see do this to prevent that wear...

quality of leather definitely something to consider, but my review wasn't so much about the leather (tho it probably should have been as well) but the construction and design of their coats
