'we must be ashamed for nothing'...paden
it is reassuring to hear paden for fliegerjacke state that their jacket is NOT made by noble house. though my experience is based on a luftwaffe jacket purchased several years ago from noble house, their jacket was mediocre at best and i sent it back...

thanks doc strange for pointing out the sizing issues as well, and some other choices...
for my money, literally, i went for leatheretc's g-1 milspec made by excelled, and it's one of the actual contract g-1's supplied to the military, tall and numerical sizing, plus the price...
miLspec insanity
alpha looks tremendous...howevahhhhh
if you have a disease (which i often do) that requires you to get actual milspec versions that have been manufactured for the u.s. military or according to contract specs, then the alpha will not do.
i fell in love with it and contacted an...

SOLD!
i thank you all.
well, i didn't want to sell it...it's gorgeous, but my plans to wear this thick leather motorcycle jacket i got last year ended as soon as i got my Eastman Luftwaffe jacket.
this Dyer leather jacket came just slightly big at sz 48 (more like a 46 to 48) so i had only...
yay cockpit
nice! and you had the fun of going to that store. jacket actually looks perfect fit...size around torso is how i wear mine, wouldn't go any tighter on me, but each to his own.
had thought you were going to get the cockpit ww2 repros with the leather patches on them, they make 3...
go capt!
way to go capt...i guarantee you will love this jacket! it does come an entire size smaller (like the ww2 mil sizing) than civilian sizes, and some so-called military sizing (uswings and gibson and barnes, both of which run like normal sizes, but nice styling)
as for why fedloungers...

oDDball
i recall watching this movie a couple of years ago and wondering what kind of jacket he had on...i was just learning about what was and wasn't an a-2, and knew those unsewn-on epaulets were not ww2...and in fact they seem very much to be a schott motorcycle jacket, the current number...
nay...no rain for the pony flier
mr. blouson and mr. split pea...weren't you the two guys who kept trying to kill 007 in 'diamonds r forever'?

despite a ribbing...
