Hat sizing strips...
The adhesive on back of w-strip can turn to some seriously nasty goo due to oils from your forehead. Foam is worse about sweat wrinkling and compresses and doesn't take up the size difference as well. Sanitizing Caps ?
If it is a leather sweatband fedora or other hat (I think that is the type hat you are asking about) then the old instructions from hat makers to turn the sweatband inside out and stand on crown to allow drying/airing is good. I don't have sensitive skin to many things but detergents not rinsed...- suitedcboy
