    Thanks for the compliments to you and ll the others. That tall crown VS is my favorite. Great felt with great feel, fits perfect, and the colors are darn near universal.

    Meeting today and in spite of the heat I chose felt. I can't grab a straw when there is a VS felt sitting near it. I didn't hang out in the heat and I survived unscathed. The photos are at the end of the day.

    If you ever ride a horse even a little bit fast with a floppy 4 inch brim hat that will be the last time you do it. Seeing where the horse is taking you is important. 4 inch brims my have an OSHA required amount of shellac. I like my 4 inch and wider to be S T I F F.
