Someone pipped me on the auction site today at €28.50 on a Mossant from the 1940s (I think) with an awesome pleated ribbon. Network went slow at the wrong time! If someone from here please post pics when you get it, it looked unloved but with potential...

Don’t take this the wrong way, but that is just ridiculous, or rather ridiculously amazing! I am checking flights from London to Iowa and will start visiting every single vintage/thrift store in the State.... amazing find Michael, really beautiful.
One other word of “warning” om shipping from the US as I discovered to my literal cost is that HMRC charge VAT on the value of the item AND the shipping cost which is pure daylight robbery... Good luck on the G1, I am also looking for one but in a different size; will let you know if I see one...
