Adding photos, see further the eBay listing.
Note this is a UK size 7-1/8, see other photo with the punti 5.5 sticker which is a size 7-1/4 US or 58 cm.
I am very reluctantly selling this Leinen Peuch French hat as it is too big for me, even with some foam under the brim. I have listed it on the bay here, but if I believe the date under the sweat, there is a stamp which says “27 December 1934”...
BGGCD. I can see why it is popular, bombproof, will use it when out in the country. Or at home where it has adorned my head for the past few hours. Very comfortable and keeping my head warm. TGIF.

Thank you! It’s tricky as I want to keep it but it really is a little too big. I am exploring with foam under the sweat and will seek Counsel from you and fellow Loungers!

Thanks, it has been a while! New job has been quite busy, then family stuff. I think I can just about say Happy New Year as it is still January, but it feels like February!

Mossant in a dark grey. It says « Castor Hudson »; which means Hudson Beaver.
About 4 inches to the pinch with a nearly 2-1/4 inch brim.

Leinnen Peuch from France in a mid grey, dense felt. I gave it a steam, brush and centre dent.
4.5 inches to the pinch
2 inch brim
2-1/8 inch ribbon
Unfortunately, it is a European 7-1/8, 5.5 punti or a US 7-1/4 which is slightly too big. Debating whether to keep... not sure of the age...
Bonjour all
I have 3 hats to post of which the last is an Akubra Campdraft in BGG. Reached me in 9 days so very quick Oz to UK but on a opening, was disappointed to see these creases pushed in by the cardboard packaging. Need some advice ladies and gents.
I’ve sent them a message, but...
Met up with my local hatter for the first time today, Marcel Rodrigues also of the Lounge. Commissioned a hat for my wife and left a few with him for some TLC, am wearing a Penney’s Marathon.
A few shots from the past Xmas week:
Visit to Old Warden Aerodrome, Shuttleworth Collection with a Lee Adventurer. The airfield is a time warp back to a biplane era, with every single aircraft from a 1909 Bleriot to a Sea Hurricane in flying condition.

It’s been a week of weeks and day of days with lots of work challenges. Working from home and being cold, I had to pull out a French parachutist beret to confront the work issues.
But dang, got to stop holding my breath during these selfies! Anyway, the weekend is here, ouf!
