What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

A lovely natural light always pleases me, it becomes almost tangible or as if it was painted. Trying to explain to my kids about the quality of light (I used to do a lot of film photography), but they just look at me as if I told them that Pokemon is their father. Apologies to all for my...

Joel Meyerowitz took a number of photos of St Louis in the 70’s I think using a large format (under a hood) camera. Hopefully this is the right link https://www.joelmeyerowitz.com/st-louis/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks! You can just about see the white and blue wingtip of our 1946 Luscombe, but her age means more care and maintenance which reduces flying at times unfortunately. Will drop you a photo when she is back up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Raining today, so spent some time with my co-owners trying to work out a magneto problem on my share o plane. Next plane over was an RAF colours T-6 Texan (Or as the Brit’s called it, Harvard). Dusty hanger, rain outside so opted for the indestructible Campdraft.

Thanks, I think it is the camera angle, it is 4.5 inches to the pinch with a 2.5 inch brim which kind of accentuates the altitude somewhat, but it’s a nice hat from a fellow Lounger [emoji106]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

It may well be! Will see how the bears thing works out, was a little surprised at the amount of white ... I was tempted to get a Western, but there is just no way to make that work (especially being part Japanese) in the U.K. or even London (which is cosmopolitan but not the more open forms of...

This one is French market, Gerard Sools, with « **** » at the front of the sweatband. I say 60’s (according to seller) but I guess it could be 70’s? Yes, 2 months no rain in Holland or U.K. is unbelievable! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1960’s Borsalino. First time I have worn a felt out in months so seemed appropriate to wear a European brand in London.

I am very excited, the temperatures cooled... to 25c ... maybe I can wear a felt ? Random people at the bus stop near my home have asked me why I am not wearing hats recently... uh because it has been 30c + / 90F(?)+ and I have no straws.

800 years... pffff, long time. I went there 2 years ago, another special place. National Parks are really great, my kids also learn a lot with the Junior Ranger programs (and so do I, reading over their shoulders :)). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I picked up this beaver Mossant earlier this year. I have another Mossant which I prefer in height of crown, but this one has this dense hand to it and lovely liner and sweat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I really enjoyed it. We had just spent a week camping in the Tetons and Yellowstone. We were planning on only spending 2 hours there but think we spent more like 4, including a talk by the bird handlers. The Native American part was very good and if you mean the firearms part of the museum, I...
