A lovely natural light always pleases me, it becomes almost tangible or as if it was painted. Trying to explain to my kids about the quality of light (I used to do a lot of film photography), but they just look at me as if I told them that Pokemon is their father.
Apologies to all for my...
Joel Meyerowitz took a number of photos of St Louis in the 70’s I think using a large format (under a hood) camera. Hopefully this is the right link https://www.joelmeyerowitz.com/st-louis/

Thanks! You can just about see the white and blue wingtip of our 1946 Luscombe, but her age means more care and maintenance which reduces flying at times unfortunately. Will drop you a photo when she is back up.

Raining today, so spent some time with my co-owners trying to work out a magneto problem on my share o plane. Next plane over was an RAF colours T-6 Texan (Or as the Brit’s called it, Harvard). Dusty hanger, rain outside so opted for the indestructible Campdraft.

I picked up this beaver Mossant earlier this year. I have another Mossant which I prefer in height of crown, but this one has this dense hand to it and lovely liner and sweat.

I really enjoyed it. We had just spent a week camping in the Tetons and Yellowstone. We were planning on only spending 2 hours there but think we spent more like 4, including a talk by the bird handlers. The Native American part was very good and if you mean the firearms part of the museum, I...
