Thanks for identifying the photographer, I will look into him further. Those are very powerful images of "real" people during tough times.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

It had a real punch on imax. He only spoke once or twice about it but mentioned that Stukas were *absolutely*...

Borsalino bought in 1963. Flecks of blue, green and grey in the felt which has an interesting edge. Black ribbon with wind trolley. In a hotel with no ribbon so no measurements. I am very happy with this, soft felt.

I am speechless on that one. Stunning. I am also hatless and will miss the eclipse as I will be somewhere over the Atlantic flying to DC and will land in the evening.

Thanks to you @FedOregon and @Samuel for your kind words and to everyone else for the likes! I wanted to wear the sharks gill ribbon Mode Edge, but did not want to risk it and it was quite warm. Worked out fine in the end.

Family wedding north of Paris. Wore the light felt Linea Augusta Borsalino sub. I was the only guy wearing a hat. A relative said I looked like someone from Prohibition. I responded that as I was the designated driver, I had to look the part!

Start them young Looks late 20's early 30's(?) in Paris. Whole brim seems turned down. Was this common for fedoras in that time? Most modern hats seem to be flanged down which I thought was a recent thing. WHat is this???

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

In Paris for work but have a cousins wedding tomorrow. Staying at a place my parents bought 27 years ago when the area, the Marais in the 4th, was rough. I used to go to a hat shop 30 seconds from their place and talk to the guy but could not afford most of the hats. This is what it used to...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

No, I picked it up a couple of months ago for $20. It was in a cattleman crease but reshaped OK, felt is a little thick but holds shape with steam. Brim 2-5/8 bound and thin ribbon, crown at 4-1/2 to pinch. House of Roth-Shire seems to have been a clothing brand until the 70's. My guess is...
