The mix of black in the blue helps mute it a bit.. The blue might looks a little brighter because I photographed it in the sunlight. It definitely darker in the shade and indoors.

Here in New England, I haven't experienced any difference in warmth between Donegal or Harris tweed. My preferences lie in 8 panel newsboys. Flat caps and me aren't compatible for personal reasons.
I've been waiting a few months for Sterkowski to announce their Malone newsboy cap in blue melange with leather trim is being sewn. The buckle in the back is cosmetic and not adjustable.
