The leather is top notch. Solid, relatively heavy and structured with mixed "grainyness" out of the box. This fits more like a leather shirt or denim, I would say. The hide is quite solid, but soft, and falls close to the body. Your chest measurments are an inch or two lager than mine and I have to sell because the jacket was too roomy around the chest. If that is your only concern I think it would...- Ole K. Vik
