Well, that is a first (for me). A ventilated, cross zip Type 3! Snap down lapels. I like it!
Too bad those red stripes are painted, but easy enough to remove!
I really want one. But not in the 21oz... I would like to use it for cycling, and the 21oz will probably be too much.
Maybe I will run into one of the 14oz versions!
GLWS!
Really happy to see this. Love that main zipper! Based on my experience of how much I enjoy wearing my Centinela, this jacket is going to be awesome! Congrats!
Well, I have decided to get a Freewheelers La Brea. I am purchasing from Watanabe-san from Genco who I purchased my Centinela from.
After owning my Centinela for a few months and really enjoying it, how it fits, comfort, design etc. I decided I really like the design language of Leathertogs...
I had a J-100 made by Aero in the Soft Steerhide. I really like it. It is very easy to wear, has give where you need it, requires no break in, looks great, has 3oz+ leather so weight and substance etc. I did a review of that jacket here...
I know this was awhile ago, but I did the same thing to my Centinela (I was reading this thread because I maybe might get a La Brea myself).
I feel like those locking zippers were meant to be used with gauntlets, when the gloves were on they kept those zippers locked. I think of the...
I would not use PayPal if I could. EVER. I don't like supporting their principles.
I have also run into people (not implying anything) that have had a significant issue with PayPal, they refuse to use it. I don't hold that against anyone that chooses not to use a form of payment, they have...

May I have a second opinion on this hat please?
I believe it is from the 50's? The damaged brim binding does not bother me too much as the hat would be worn casually. Looking for a shape-able crown homburg with...
Too bad. I see variations of the brim on Homburgs and figured it was a style of the times.
Good to know that some can be shaped the way I enjoy. Perhaps that is what I see in some hats.
I might grab that Borsalino, the owner says the crown is shape-able, unless someone here can convince me...
Love these Tuxedo Hats! I kick myself for missing out on a Knox a while back. I guess if I want to actively look for one, especially one of these Stetson models, I should search for Stetson Feather Weight? If I recall, this was an early used term?
Quick question about Homburg brims I have been meaning to ask for some time now. I enjoy homburgs and I have two Stetsons, one a 40's Royal and one a 30's Special. They both are wonderful... But they both lack something I see in some Homburgs, but not all.
Basically I am wondering in what...
You know. I see MANY vintage Sears jackets on the bay that are in conditions that are too good to be true. I own a Stetson Derby easily 100 years old, looks like I just purchased it.
It is not impossible that this jacket is 70 years old. That being said... It is obviously of some...
