I think you can ask Shawn directly about his fabric jackets. I think I saw him wearing one on his brothers Instagram which I got recommend automatically through the phone number I think. He wore it in Germany His brother lives not far away from where I live
The sizing is accurate in terms of measurements .I would not trust the sleeve pattern . I think they are quite tubular /big .Maybe just take the sleeve measurements from a existing jacket .Maybe someone can chime in on that .Mine were big and tubular when they matched my arm hole a cuff opening...
As someone that dedicates himself to do the stuff to leather that leather "fanboys" would never ever do to their stuff because "it hurts the leather" "only use natural oils"( even though they oxidize and rot leather)
You can stretch the cuff with a shoe stretcher pretty easy and efficient .I...
Bald spots are white/ hide colour. It looks like a split to me .That's the sad part of shearling jackets .It's nearly impossible to inspect the grain side before and after the tanning process .The butcher might nick the skin or it rips while staking/vibrating the hide .I have had worse spots ...
Man I want a another five star.

I am way to harsh myself .
This is the exact same jacket as pictured on the...

So far very pleased with the shearling quality .
Fitpic after being worn in snow and a bit of rain .
The coating on the outside has a good quality and character .
Stitching is still tight .

I don't think the internet theorie is correct.
What I learned about leather is that it is pH sensitive and raw conditioners are not good .
Natural oils will rot and oxidise which will destroys the leather. Leather cleaners and oils with the wrong pH can throw of the pH of the leather so much...
So far I would say that the 22mm Irvin fleece is not as dense as the ones I had from noble house which were always way to warm even with a t shirt in -5 degree Celsius .
The jacket is still warm but the curly hairs make it look denser .
Which make it more practical since you don't sweat like a...
