    The hem does not look like a brooks. The hem looks like bates but the double sewing on the zip, sleeves, and cut does not support bates construction methods, design, or fabrics. Perhaps, when you get it, you can share more images of the jacket.

    That is a nice pliable hide on that jacket. I have seen them in the flesh. Very dense. I have one with the thicker hide also nice but not very pliable like the one that just sold.

    I think one of the reasons was the labor cost to produce them. Love your jacket by the way. It has the basic color and leather as one of my favorite jackets with dual action sleeves.
