When I have to ride in very cold weather, I like a thick steer with one thin layer of cashmere and another thicker leather of wool. Cashmere is the fabric used indoor. The coat and wool will stay at the coat rack.
The pencil black core is solid graphite. It is a great lubricant for the teeth. When you clean all the gunk out with the black core of the pencil, you begin to lubricate the teeth at the same time. Make sure you brush off the gunk. Some pencil will come off, but you need to redo the process...
Nice Coat! The design looks late 30s to me. The zip is a replacement (late 50s). To lubricate the zips, use a regular pencil to remove oxidation and gunk from the all the zipper's part. If you have a chance, try to brush the coat with a horse hairbrush to remove the dust that could create...
Trojans do run roomy in the upper parts. My size 46 fits well. Just like my two 46 lw j23. My original j24 in size 46 is roomier than the lw. However, lw j23 and trojans are heavily quilted with wool and green quilt.
Love that style. Very comfortable. It reminds me of my JL made for me by the man himself. There is an image of me wearing it in the forum. The leather is thick and heavy. Not waxy at all. However, I put in some conditioner and it gets dark fast.
