    I believe this is the first time I've seen a D'Aquino on the secondary. I love mine - it's also beaver (Esther gave me beaver for the price of rabbit when you couldn't find a rabbit in the color I wanted, which should tell you what kind of customer service she provides).

    I have an A-2 from Mark in cowhide and I can say it's stunningly well-made - hard to imagine any of the big names putting out a better product.

    I would add here that having taken delivery on my tumbled FQHH Bootlegger (pics a few threads down), I don't find it especially bulky and it's not at all stiff - it's not a lightweight by any means but it wears very comfortably right out of the box.

    AFAIK it's the standard model. That's certainly how it was listed on the Aero site. I'm inclined to agree - if I had to pick slightly too large or slightly too small, I'd take the former. And experimenting with the straps I think I can improve the way it "molds", and wear will help with that...

    I'm kind of glad to hear you say that, Carrie, because I just got a stock Bootlegger in this very hide on the premise that it seemed relatively close to Vicenza in terms of the grain and being a bit lighter than regular FQHH.

    I'm thinking about the tumbled Black FQHH for a Bootlegger - anyone have that combo? Thinking about the Vicenza too, but Tumbled does save some money and might it develop a better patina over time?
