Yep. The waist is problematic, but no problems with the neck area - the leather is soft and does not feel uncomfortable in the least.
So from what I gather, Premier HB/HWM are not really suited for a slimmer/fitter person? I have a chest/waist difference of about 5 inches, whereas the jacket's...
The hide looks even better in natural light. Nice and dark. The problem with the waist adjusters is that when pulled in, they cause a bit of a 'bump' on the back. You can see it even now just above the belt, but the effect's even more pronounced when they are pulled in. It's possible that it...
I'm used to relatively slim-fitting and heavily tapered cross-zips, so perhaps the looser cut of the HB is something I have to get used to if that's how they are supposed to look and fit. Not really sure what to think... The look isn't terrible per se, just feels a bit awkward in the waist. I'll...
Got myself an Aero Premier Range 30s HB in Cordovan CXL FQHH from the sale section. The hide is TERRIFIC, soft and beautiful, the jacket fits well in the shoulders and chest, but the waist is a mess, one or two inches too large (yeah, I know I should have asked them about the waist measurement)...
Does Aero still charge UK VAT on EU orders? The last bit of information I have is from April when they were apparently still working on the new pricing.
Might be an European thing, but long sleeves don't look good, IMO, and usually feel uncomfortable in my experience. At least I can't stand it when the sleeves cover half of my hands. I always go for a 25.5" length (around the curve) at my height of c. 182 cm.
The odd angle of the photos (taken...
Not a fan of the overly pronounced teacore effect, but otherwise a FANTASTIC looking jacket. 10/10. Looks like it has a pretty nice waist taper as well?
Can confirm this as well. It looks like they updated some of their patterns. I have a c. 38" chest, but had to size down to 36 for the Detroit, and even then there's some room for layering. Could probably even wear size 34 on a t-shirt. If you are a slimmer guy, you'll probably have to ask for a...
Cheaper than Aero, manufacturing time around one month, great selection of leathers, great styles.. What's there not to like. You just got to be careful with your measurements and communicating your wishes to them, as some people have had issues with returns. My SB Detroit jacket is a...
Thanks. I'm starting to get the feeling that the shoulder width isn't the issue here after all like ojaw said as well. Perhaps it's the very high and tight armholes that make the jacket quite uncomfortable and layering virtually impossible. I mean, the deltoid area of the jacket starts to pinch...
Does anyone know, is the 5-star CR only suitable for certain body types? Or should I perhaps size up?
I bought the jacket without shoulder gussets in my usual size (chest 21" or a bit less, shoulders 18"), but I can wear it only on a t-shirt and even then the shoulder area feels restricting. I...

It's an amazing leather, from what I have read.
What's the front length of this jacket? I've heard the premier version has a small 'dip' on the front, making it slightly longer compared to the original version.
Can I ask what makes it so special? I am still looking for a CR and SB definitely seems like a better option than Aero, at least as far as the price and leather selection is concerned.
