    If the jacket was a 1 1/2" shorter it would not hang on my hips and I would be able to zip it easier

    I would date the Trojan in the 50s, not the 30s or 40s. I had little luck finding information about Trojan Leather Sportwear but the Crown zip was not available to civilians until after the end of the 2nd world war.
