The ??? is because we don't have a model name. Shudde Bros is in Houston but Houston is not the hat model name. Shudde Bros made OR style models (house model) but also refurbed original OR's & put their sweatbands in. If we get a model name, the ??? will get replaced. -

I bought a Hi-Oh Silver new in late 1970's & had the band & binding removed before it left the store, Cowpuncher's Palace. Those Stagecoach Resistols were stiff & durable. Still got mine tho it doesn't see much noggin time anymore. -

Same here Al. I've got 5 Campdrafts, a Fed4, 2 Bushman's (Bushmen?), Boss of the Plains, Dallas, Riverina & have had & sold countless others. Most all I've bought was 61. Same for Stetsons 7 5/8; 61. They all fit a little different but after some training, they get right. -

Interesting...what does the front of the crown look like, at the brim break? That is where the majority of my sweat stains effect my well-used lids the most. I do get some on the sides but the key area seems to be from my forehead. -

Yep, jumped on them when first offered, felt they wouldn't last long. We just don't drive that much market demand for HatCo. I was hoping to get the sage one in open crown but have modified a Road Master a while back. These are how a dress weight OR should be, JMHO -

Hunted for years in an old style Riverina by Akubra, 3 vent holes each side. Never noticed any leakage. Venting is minial, mostly letting hot air escape, not letting cool air in. My Bushman has one hole each side for the stampede string attachment but overall, I don't care for the vent hole look... -

Not much at all. It is not like the pressed in factory crease of the western weight modern OR's. I got 2 of these Royal DeLuxe OR's, one open crown & this one. The crease was fairly easily modified. HTH -
