Great Thread for Covid times.
I have been cutting my own hair for a few months. No more buzzcuts for me. I went back to my slick back hairstyle.
I use a 6 on the sides and a 5 on back. I might even take a #4 below the 5. Don't know yet.
I have an M shaped neckline which is very difficult to...
You can order online.
Trust me nobody wants to be in this dump of a country right now but you can still enjoy one of the last products considered American Glory ..... " JEANS".
I am in for a pair of Gustin 21oz Blue. Ships in December.
Everyone here should be checking the BraveStar website for the pre - order sales. Everyone has their top of the line merchandise out now. Once Black Friday comes or even just before choices will dwindle considerably all over the place.
Thanks. What upsets me about the Japanese denim shirts is they never add extra buttons anywhere. Frustrating on such an expensive shirt. I buy JC Penney dress shirts and they all come with extra buttons.
I am very happy with my L'Artisan denim shirt 14oz from Okayama Denim. Fit is spot on.
After many searches online I found this to be the most fairly priced @ $140. Quality of denim is excellent. I don't think I could have done better anyplace else.
Sizes run very trim with this line. Pay...
What's the deal with Bronson ? They seem to offer many cheaper looking versions of items you might find at Buzz Ricksons Etc. Is any of it good quality ?
They look baggy like logger jeans. You may want to look at Prison Blues then also Ben Davis. I think the Prison Blues jeans might fit the bill. Good quality too.
Does anyone know if Bravestar or the like make jeans for women ? I can't seem to find information on the subject. I thought maybe custom jeans would be a great gift for Xmas. If not Bravestar then who else could I purchase a gift certificate from to construct jeans for a female friend ?
Thanks
Well my theory about this is for a pair of Wrangler 936 that cost $36 I 'd be willing to throw them away at the end of the season and chalk it up to $36 well spent on great looking jeans for the season.
As far as IronHeart goes at $400 a pair. YES I will eventually rinse them in a bucket but...
Yes they do stretch but not too much. I have been wearing them non stop for two weeks now. It took me well over a week to loosen up the top button enough to button it. Otherwise I have walked 6 miles a day in these jeans putting some serious sweat into them. They are still a work in progress but...
My 936 Wranglers measured exactly 32 using the Iron Heart method but my jeans were sold as a 31.9. When I placed the order IH wrote to tell me my jeans being shipped were a 31.6 ! I died a thousand deaths until they found me another pair at 31.8 !! I can tell you that the 31.8 is basically just...
For the past year or so I have "cleaned" my denim by putting my jeans in the freezer for a few days. It keeps them looking new and kills the bacteria.
Currently breaking in a pair of 25oz Iron Heart 666xhs jeans....My thumb is raw from working buttons into the button holes. Been wearing them...
I have ordered from LC King/ Pointer Brand maybe twice and both times I found their fit to be extremely odd. Like no other workwear line I have tried. Too bad since they have nice things.
I just ordered two 8.5oz T shirts from Bravestar Selvedge in LA. They haven't arrived yet but they weigh in at 8.5 oz each and the measurements are clearly marked so I expect a nice fit $25 per.
Iron Heart now offers an 11oz T Shirt for an obscene amount of money.
