Received my 689H. I actually sized DOWN for the right fit because of the built in arm gussets. A size 36 had a pit to pit of 21 3/4 which for me is as wide as I want to go. The 38 my usual size had a 22" + ptp and a shoulder of 18+. Way too wide.
I think the fit is brilliant and I love the...
Thanks for the response. Would you be able to tell me if there is a difference in fit ? The Vanson looks boxier to me in the photos. Reviews of the 689H say slimmer tailored fit ?
Bumping this thread.
Can anyone add anything to the Enfield / Schott 689H debate that is current info ? I wonder what jacket has a thicker hide ? Waiting on Schott to send me the size specs. They really need to include this on their website automatically. Same with Vanson.
I have never owned a...
Thank You Sir. The problem was the back crown area is thinning . You don't see that in front.
Since then I have learned something about buzzcuts. There are SEVERAL variations. I now instead do a #5 (5/8) on top with a faint part and a 4 (1/2") on the sides. I like it much better.
No Problem.
I tend to have a rather dry sense of humor anyway. My point was to ease the tension and to bring laughter (light) to the situation.
No Worries. Have a great holiday.
I would go as far as saying PIANF

Make sure you get your exact waist size. I am a 32 but all they had in stock were a pair at 31.8 " in waist and I now wear it with the top button open. If anything on thicker denim weights go up from your waist size + just a few mm more to account for...
I am surprised by your response to my post. This wasn't meant to be cruel at all just Late Night TV sarcasm as to what is going on in America. As in bringing light to a serious issue.
I am Jewish by the way and I mean't no harm by it.
Again if this is you first try at heavyweight jeans go with the cheaper ones (BS). If you know the 21oz is definitely for you and you have $400 to spend you CANNOT go wrong with IH. Not to mention those guys are fit Nazis and they won't let you leave without the right fit so you know they will...
In situations like this you go for what you can afford. Can't go wrong with IH but you pay a premium for it. IMO paying IH prices for the 25oz denim is WORTH it. $400 for 21 oz.....depends on the fit. Sometimes a good fit is worth the money. I am finding this out especially with T Shirts.
If...
I have a pair. They are thick but not Iron Heart thick. A lower quality denim than Iron Heart but IMO much better than Naked and Famous.
I am very thin but I need a True Straight fit. The Slim Fit is CRAZY LEAN.
Been on a Japanese Denim kick for a few months now. A few months ago I purchased a denim blazer off a Japanese website but it was too large for me. I tried desperately to shrink it down but it did not work out for me.
It seems like they sell out fast on the website I went on. Any ideas if I...
I purchased a few peacoats off Ebay last year and I never paid above $100. All are authentic vintage in great shape with superior quality.
The catch is I purchased them during the summer ! I notice they tend to get more expensive once the weather turns cooler....at least on Ebay.
Where do you see the $20 credit in your Gustin account ? They just refunded me for a pair of jeans that won't be made and they gave me a $40 credit to use in store but I don't see it on my account anywhere .
Thanks
I would think what is on the AERO website is from Japan and the USA website Italy ? I am sure the Japanese versions are better but I'd like confirm that buying LEE in America the home country of origin is a bad idea quality wise ?
