Tim at Pure Beaver Hat Supply sells pre-made 2 ply bows. Don't know for certain if he has black. Look him up on instagram @purebeaver.
I really would not waste any time or money on a hat that is sized "small, medium, large" but that is just me. Also, I don't know if this makes a difference for...

that ribbon is usually known as a 2-ply band (because there's two "rows," there's also 3-ply with three "rows")
Since we are picking nits, I think the welted edge thing needs to be delineated. The fact that the welted edge is prevalent on wool hats currently doesn't really speak to the quality of a vintage hat with a welted edge.
My assumption has always been that the prevalence of the welted edge on...
Very classic profile on that one, it's a good look!

If it's the same issue I encountered shipping my hat back to Worth and Worth, the larger boxes are too big to process by some sort of sorting machine. IIRC what the post office called it was "machine processible."
I don't know which flange was used, this will probably be trial and error for you.
I can however, illustrate the difference between a "flat" brim, an actually flat brim, and an unflanged hat body.
The hat on the right has probably the flattest flange of my personal hats, but it is flanged...
Ok, we are entering Dunning-Kruger territory here now.
The hats you just posted both have flanged brims.
The only style of hat for which you would not need a flange is a completely flat brim, like a Boss of the Plains, or gaucho style. Not only are the vast majority of men's hats produced...
Brim binding is mostly aesthetic, though it does seem to add some structure and helps retain the snap of a brim.
Wires are generally not used in men's hats (though there are exceptions) and when we do see them in modern hats, they are mostly low quality wool hats because wool felt won't hold...
Sure, get yourself the correct sized block for the finished hat that you want to make. You can try securing an extra felt body to the block and then blocking over that as well.
