I think side laces give extra options. Let them out in the colder months to allow for a hoodie, tighten up in summer for t-shirt only. My waistline is always expanding and contracting so the laces are a big plus for me. I also think they add to the look of the jacket. Can't wait to see the final...- roadking04

Recommendations for Riding Jeans
Well.... I am peeking down the raw denim rabbit hole. I had a few beers and ordered a pair of Bravestar 21oz. jeans. They had a black Friday sale. Got them for $100. Way more than I have ever spent on a pair of my "dad" jeans. Hope they fit my "dad" bod. lol. Should get them in a week or so.- roadking04

I agree with you. I will probably opt for one on most of my mc jackets. They are a big plus in 40 degree weather, plus they look bad to the bone. That collar rocks on your LW. Can't wait to see one on 1 of JMax's fine jackets.- roadking04

Schott x Shinki Jacket
Schott doesn't really accommodate fit guys as well. I think they are more tailored towards beer drinking bikers. Maybe that's why I like them. They seem to fit my "dad bod" pretty well.- roadking04

I am gonna go against the grain and vote for Schott. As much as I love the way the Aero looks, to me, it is just that. I think the Schott is a better MC jacket. I have a 618 (and probably always will), and it has become my go-to jacket to ride in. The #5 front zipper disqualifies the Aero for MC...- roadking04

Took the glide out after the Browns game. 46 degrees with 40mph winds. Rode up to an angry Lake Erie with 10 foot waves in my Johnson Leather. The 3.5oz. "SFPD leather" easily handled the rough conditions until I tried to take a pic. I had It staged and the wind blew the jacket off the bike...- roadking04
