I think I am going with the 618. There are too many variables with Vanson right now. Mainly the quality of their hides. Hopefully they get it together and I will have a reason to get another jacket. That is what is scaring me away from the RandR. That, and my last competition leather from Vanson was complete garbage. I don't think they stock the RandR either. Recommendations for Riding Jeans
First time I got to ride in my 21oz Bravestars. I am a big fan. They really cut down the wind. Might not be AS good as leather overpants, but are definitely better than your garden variety Levi's. I am sold on the heavy raw denim for m/c use. Not heavy use yet, no real fades at the moment.- roadking04

Actual weight of a leather jacket
I finally got around to weighing my Schott 618hh. I thought it was heavier and harder to break in than my previous 618. My size 48 came in at a little over 5lbs. My newer 46 weighs in at 6lbs.- roadking04

Took out my Glide today on it's maiden voyage of the new season. Man, is it hard to do the speed limit on the first ride of the year. lol.
