Sounds Awesome. can't wait to see which one you end up with. I am assuming the J82 is a cross zip? Would love to see you back on the dark side with some M/C jackets again.
I have to fully agree. If I would have bought a 618/613 when I bought my first MC (1980 shovelhead), I would have never bought another leather jacket again (until I outgrew it, of coarse, lol). Simply badass Marker.
Don't even think about it OneHead, just do it. It is almost a must have with a...
47 degrees last weekend, 85 degrees today and the 618 handled both extremes. Cross zips are great M/C jackets. Snap open the lapels, open the sleeve and pocket zips to let in some air. With a proper/snugger fit the jacket doesn't balloon up. A little warm in town, but fine at highway speeds.
I am new to the raw denim scene. Now that I have a couple of pairs, I don't think I will go back to "mall jeans" again. I bought my first pair of Bravestar 21oz jeans last fall. I thought they would work good on the bike and they do. I don't really need chaps anymore when the temps drop in the...
We are having the same wacky weather as the rest in the midwest. Blustery, low 50's, perfect weather for the road glide and my steerhide 618. Still trying to break this guy in. Just been putting wear on him, hasn't even been wet yet. I am gonna stick with honest wear and no accelerated break-in...
I am almost positive Schott does this repair. I thought I read on their forum that they can replace both rather easily. I think the only problem would be matching the leather. As long as it is pretty close, it should be unnoticeable to the general public.
I never looked at the numbers. I usually wear relaxed fit jeans and didn't have a problem with the fit on the "true straight" jeans from Bravestar. I am not a skinny jeans dude. lol. Hope you find what you are looking for. I am hoping for some Iron Hearts for the fall riding season. Probably...
@JustinW, I am pretty sure Brave star sells a 21oz double black selvedge jeans for about $128 or so. I am a rookie in raw denim. I only have 2 pairs but I am quite pleased with the price and quality.
Awesome write up Ton. That is one badass E. Perfect amount of wear. I wish they still made them like that. Your E and doubleH's E are MILES apart. The new model E's look like cheap Chinese knock offs compared to yours. Never let that one go. I hope to see MANY more pics in the WJAYWT thread.
Very impressive collection of motorcycle jackets Mendel. You are giving JMax a run for his money in that division. I thought for sure Ton snagged up that badass "E". That looked like one fine specimen from "finds and deals".
