My experience as well...Akubras all fit nicely at 59 7-3/8... All the felt stetsons Ive had (new AND older), all fit well as 7-1/4. Straw western stetsons for me are fairly decent at 7-1/4, but the 7-1/4 Hemps and Straw fedoras seem to run a full size larger than marked and slide down to the ears -
