My experience is the following: I normally would need size 42, I am 178cm & 74 kg. Thus for trim fit, I ordered chest size 40, but length and arm-length like in size 42 (for my Highwayman & 50's Halfbelt).
Therefore length and arm-length are correct, but chest is trim fitting. Especially with...
Dear Jan & Olli,
Thanks for posting the pics and the compliments for the jacket. What kind of Jacket have you on order, Olli?
I am curious and also think about another piece from Aero. I was always wondering, if it would be a good idea to open an own Aero Thread as a kind of "Aero Library", were...
The current Oil Pull is much darker than the Jacket of Jan and reminds me on "dark chocolate". Please find attached links to my 1950's Halfbelt, which is now 4 months old. Compared to my other Aero Jackets, the Oil Pull is lighter in weight and very soft right from the start. To me it is an...
Here in Mongolia the most extreme temperature that I faced was -45 oC during night. At these temperatures I wear a wool cap, my 23 year old B-3, fleece shawl, cashmere sweater, jeans, silk longjohns, camel hair socks, boots with insulating insole and löbster type handgloves. With this gear I did...
Hi,
I bought them around Christmas and I must say they are very nice in aspect of fabrication, leather quality and color.
The fit in my case is outstanding and I only can advice them. When photos are needed, please let me know.
I still think that it is a bit too tight in the waiste, because the straps are just loose in the buckle.

When tightened accurately, the jacket would be too snug to wear.
It's abeautiful jacket! When I see it, on the upper body it fits nicely, but in the waiste it is too tight, because your side-straps are more than 100% open. That's also the reason why it folds up over your waiste.
Find it also quite strange to compare Nazi uniforms with nowadays designs and as Mysterious Mose already mentioned:
Hugo Ferdinand Boss passed into eternity in 1948.
Here in Mongolia I wear my already 25 years old Avirex B3 at temperatures down to -45oC with a longsleeve shirt and a cashmere sweater without any problems. Also a dog sleigh trip last year for a few hours at temperatures between -25oC and -30oC were no problem. When I lived in Europe I could...
Hi Edward,
the temperature in Beijing will be in Winter about the same as in central Europe, thus maybe -10 to -15oC lowest. A pair of A10 should do the job easily. Of course it also depends how long you want to stay outside and on your outside activities. I have some experience, because here in...
Hi Griff,
congrats, this is a very nice jacket. I have the same, but in black just a few weeks old.
I have a question: Why are the adjustable side-straps of your jacket completely open? Do you prefer a more loose fit around the waiste? I have the problem that I ordered leather inside on the...
Beautiful A2
Hallo Oliver,
your new A2 is very beautiful. I have a seal brown FQHH A2 45-1410P from Aero for just 5 months now and it slowly gets smooth and breaks in. I'll post some photos when I have time.
I wish you proud & happy wearing of your new "Schmuckstueck".
Gruss
Uwe
Hi Speedbird!
Thanks for the warm welcome and indeed I might be the only one in the forum from Mongolia, however I am not Mongolian :)
Nice community here and interesting topics to follow.
Regards
Uwe
Aero Bomber
Hi Christian,
when authenticity doesn't matter that much to you,
why aren't you taken the Aero Bomber Jacket? It has the
A-2 style, but also handwarmer pockets.

Regards & and good luck with your choice.
