I have nothing in the making and nothing I luster about. Except for seeing all your crazy cool jackets coming!
And Super, you should wear your beautiful leather jackets all the time, so everyone can see them. I mean seriously, those are meant to be worn and to be seen by the public and by us...
Hi Reg,
I know you haven’t asked me but I had a BK jacket once. It was beautiful, just not my colour. Concerning strength, I had two broken seams, the lining had holes and one zipper rider broke. All this in three months! I mean I was wearing this jacket, every day, but still, this is...
Michael, this jacket is really beautiful!
By the way, I bought a pair of vintage US Army wool trousers. They're 18oz and probably the most beautiful pair of pants I've seen. They're at my tailor right now to get them a little more fitted, they will be wide still. So looking forward to showing...
Hanging at school. Decided to wear the jacket as the zipper is not torn apart yet. The replacement should be here next week.

The Tellason jacket is easy to break in. I honestly haven't worn this one very often and it already shows signs of wear. Especially this indigo indigo version breaks in in no time.

Wow! Terry, that's an awesome jacket. You got it from a fellow lounger, right?
This leather makes me wanna get my J-21 in this leather!

I think it's silica sand. We have that here too. You can use it in the garden against slurs. Not seen that much before though, stuff's expensive.

Getting a riri 8 zipper from Munich. Incredible to get them in northern Germany.
Will have my shoe cobbler to build it in. He said he can do it. There is a woman in Munich who does this stuff often but it's 140€!
My cobbler said it's 40€.
Today it's my merino wool made in Germany troyer and...
Yupp, but I don't need a NOS Talon to replace it when it breaks after another year. Rather I would love to have something in brass with brown tape that is the sturdiest thing ever!
I would love to have some suggestions maybe via pm, so it's not disturbing this thread anymore. I'm sorry for...
Well, if it can be fixed here it would be better. The shipping cost, the risk of it getting held in customs and the time (it was about 3 weeks one way last time). Haven't talked to DD about it.
But I'll have to be wearing some of my other jackets now, I guess.

I know it's off topic, but it's urgent, so I'm asking here. Anyone know any good place to repair the broken front zipper on my J-21?
Best would be in Germany but Europe is fine, too.

My experience is that most people have no idea how much a jacket costs. Only schooled observers have the eye for something precious. Well, they might be thinking it's well made and probably not cheap but not likely guess the actual price. That's also why I like the fact of not having any brand...
