My vintage college jacket that I bought in Canada 4 and a half years ago in a thrift store. Have worn this a lot before getting my J-21. It's actually a bit too small on me but I love it anyway. The quality is really good. Nothing is broken in this jacket, nothing, not even a flaw in the lining...- A-1

Yeah, I would also go for nylon or mixed blend threads. Cotton is time accurate but it may tear easier. However, I think there are differences there as well.
