    Very nice gents! I thought my Dalworth was just a 7 3/8 version of StoryPNW’s but my brim is a tad bigger at 2 3/4” and mine seems to be a bit more green. I recently bashed mine into a pinch front and wear it with the front snapped down.

    Like yours, mine has a $20 price tag and no X markings. I would guess that your 3X will be a step up in quality. Mine is hand-shapable but a bit stiff and requires a some steam to remove bumps and creases. Mine is very comfortable and I think a great looking every day type of hat.

    Beware that the average of L and W gets less accurate as L and W diverge. For example, 7 is the average for 7x7, 8x6, and 9x5 but the actual respective circumference for these are 22, 22.1, and 22.44. The average method is probably close enough for regular oval hats but XLO and XXLO hats...

If the hat isn’t as described you should be able to return it at the seller‘s expense even if they don’t offer returns. eBay offers that protection to buyers.
