Well, my wife got to the package before me and was sure it contained multiple hats as it was a heavy duty 20x20x20 box that weighed over 5 lbs. She watched me unwrap the hat from many many taped layers of bubble wrap and burst out laughing when the beauty was finally revealed. I hope other... -

Western, anyone?
I used Pecard’s Antique Leather Dressing but if I remember correctly I didn’t apply it to the scale side. My band has a thick leather backing and that was dried and where I applied the dressing. Not sure if you should use a different dressing on the scale side. -

I think it looks great! I have a snake skin band that was badly dried out but recovered well after a few rounds of Pecard’s. -
