Have this vintage Vanson Ike on the way, ‘70s per the seller, in what is described as soft steerhide with a somewhat worn collar. Thanks man! I think it will be ready within the next few weeks? I put deposit down at end of January and they estimated about 6 months. Aiming for a trimmer fit this time around, going to be a very different jacket from this one.- Mrfrown

Bravestar Type III Doesn’t get as much wear as my leathers but it’s a great jacket. 21.5 oz actually feels like a jacket, lighter weight denim often comes across as a thick shirt to me.- Mrfrown

The vest length issue is probably an optical illusion from the jacket underneath and where my arms are. Can measure later but here it is again all buttoned up for clarity. It hits right on my belt. Feels like a great length/size to wear solo or over other layers.- Mrfrown

Yes it’s hot. Too hot. Still having fun wearing jackets when I can. We do have air conditioning, and iced beverages of choice. Also I have to say the bamboo in our backyard really helps cool it back there.- Mrfrown
