I’m unsure about the overall style…it will take some time for me to marinate on it. It vibes like alternate SpongeBob Squarepockets or something you’d see at the truck stop. Dunno. Even if I’m not totally sold on it I clearly like it more than some of you guys lol
Style questions aside I am...
If you’d like a comparison, here’s the one I recently picked up. I think the fit is good. I prefer the way it wears zipped, between the weight of the pockets the drape of the leather it hangs a little oddly when open
Yep the kids love to pop into my photos. I normally offer to take some with them, but here they were pretty sneaky heh
I also found the model numbers baffling, especially considering how the cuts have changed over time too…a lot to digest when making a choice. I wonder if it’s part of their...
Yeah I like it more than I expected! I really wanted the 613s/613/618 but jumped on this one due to the lining.
I was kinda aggravated with them but it’s undeniably cute…
Schott 519
Still want to try the 613 and 618, my understanding is they’re a little shorter than this. However since I was able to get this Nordstrom model with the satin lining not sure if I’ll ever part with it…
Can you spot my little audience in the background :)
Almost too hot to take these but I wanted to share pics of the newly arrived Langlitz Timberline. Honestly I’m blown away.
A much trimmer fit this time vs my Columbia.
The collar feels a little tall/in the way on first wear. Also the back is a little long…it seems impossible to get a fit that...
Thanks @Edward I’ve worn it all day to day and have really enjoyed it. An easy jacket to wear, partially because it’s already attained “beater” status from previous wear heh
Hah Monitor nooo. It’s too long in the sleeves, no question. I included the last pic knowing it shows their length...
Finally let go of the dream my fringed Kehoe represented (thanks @BikerSEA ) to make room for this beauty. Not for everyone I suppose, but truth is I love it. Vintage Schott Western wear
I thought about your comment and checked, perhaps there are some Vanson styles you should take a second look at. The sleeves are stitched on the Ike, see!
Got this Vanson Ike in today. Didn’t have much time to wear it but really dig it. I slept on this style for a long time until I realized short and boxy is a good thing for me heh
I love this idea Marc. Have been considering doing something similar. Will also be looking to get some work done on my denim jackets and vest. Looking forward to your finished project!
The comet and royale enfield I had both had great range of motion. I‘be been missing having Vanson in the line up since I moved the comet. If the fit is good I bet you’ll be very happy!
Hey y’all
I have another fringed jacket on the way so I decided to finally move this one along.
Beautiful vintage Kehoe with a pretty over the top fringe. Honestly I love this jacket. If it fit I’d never sell it. Built in the longer/slimmer style like a board racer.
The hide is light to mid...
