    It would work but consider that shell cordovan shoes or boots are almost at same price or even more expensive than high end leather jackets. It is not worth wasting on a jacket detail or it is not reasonable tripling the jacket price with a shell cordovan detail.

    Who offers 4oz jackets officially other than LW? Over 4oz there is no choice. Most of the members here even consider 3oz fqhh that aero offers as middleweight. So there is not much to discuss.
