Mint brown Schott 613 from Japan in Spain. Size 34. 600eu. Maybe not a deal but surely a find!
https://www.vinted.com/items/3397042336-schott-perfecto-613-one-star
42cm shoulder
46cm chest
63cm back
40cm bottom hem
60cm sleeves
Too tight even for me.
@cbez Thank you for the reassurance.
I know @Canuck Panda has talked about this as well, but what's your opinion about what platform is best for buying from Japan?
buyee.jp?
Are there any others that you monitor that have stuff that you won't see on buyee.jp?
It's a server side thing. Would be interesting to hear what the admins say about this as it's definitely not the first time the TFL servers experience performance issues. I think they are financed purely by ads, don't think I've seen any donation options.
In terms of finding my size used stuff...
Two Vanson jackets came up in France and Italy via Vinted:

You won't manage to shut down anything. Best case scenario you'll get your money back.
Fake RedCastHeritage site has been up for years scamming people, nothing can be done about it.
On the short side in relation to that specific pair of pants. Higher rise pants would work a bit better.
In terms of sleeve width - nothing that enough lifting will not solve :D
Otherwise pretty decent.
@Aloysius
They did give me a full refund without any issues, apologized for it.
But I was lucky that I had a UK proxy to measure the jacket for me before forwarding it my way, as SB did not do any QC checks in terms of measurements before shipping out.
That's why I tell everyone to make sure...
@Canuck Panda
I feel like going full custom eliminates the "straight down the torso" problem (if it is a problem for one's body shape) since you can spec waist and bottom hem width. Can also spec sleeve width.
Big custom potential if you manage to get QC pictures before shipping and don't end up...
Sleeve width is a completely different topic.
As far as I know Aero will not accommodate sleeve width requests, you just have to pick a different pattern - one that has wider sleeves.
I highly doubt you will achieve any significant improvements in comfort just by natural stretch. Soaking and...
I agree with @Marc mndt , going any longer would be a bad idea.
For me (and I guess a lot of other TFL folks) the ideal length is between where your front pockets start to show and covering your belt.
In this case the front pockets are slightly peeking out from the front, so that's as long as...
People on TFL have had various experience with SB. Look around for threads related to that.
My experience has been exceptional communication with Deborah and a let down and return in terms of the jacket itself. They messed up the waist and bottom hem measurements very badly.
My jacket up in...
@Canuck Panda @Hide'n'seek
Thank you for the extra info!
One thing that caught my eye is the 42 hooch hauler hem being the same as a 40 moonshiner hem, meaning that actually the hooch hauler hem would be tighter at the same size. But I guess the moonshiner is more oversized (50s pattern) so...
@Canuck Panda
Can you elaborate on this? In what ways?
Some of your quotes from our conversation about these two models:
"Imo the Hooch is the better pattern for daily wear. But I think the Moonshiner is more "period" correct. The Hooch has higher armholes than the Moonshiner. The Moonshiner...
@onstar
Canuck Panda shared some nice info about that particular topic here : https://www.thefedoralounge.com/posts/3028861/
Moonshiner does not very high armholes, but higher than the Maxwell according to Aero.
I know I asked about this before, but how would you compare the Maxwell with the Moonshiner?
Personally I would go for the Moonshiner over the Maxwell if I had the chance.
Mainly due to the higher arm holes, more taper and bi-swing back.
