Hey all,
I purchased this jacket last year from the Schott store in New York’s East Village and just haven’t worn it because it comes up a little too long for my short torso. It’s the 536W in waxy cowhide. Think I may be better off with the 218W.
It’s brand new. Still have the tags. Can’t fly...
Having an Autumn clearout! This one needs a new home as it's far too big for me. It's in pretty immaculate condition. Identical to the famous Lightning jacket. Really gorgeous natural grain on some of the panels.
Will fit chest size 38". I'll grab the specific measurements soon.
Asking for 190GBP
Talon zippers. A real sturdy, well made jacket. Brilliant condition - Would even go as far to say that is hasn't fully been broken in yet.
Will provide specific measurements soon!
USA Made. Cowhide.

Have you ever ordered anything from Japan on these websites? Is it a smooth transaction/process? I've seen a few auction sites but I'm a little dubious about going for it.
Nope. This is a Straight To Hell Commando. Saw it online and kinda liked it so I took a chance. It's a nice fit. I'll probably get bored of all the metal hardware eventually but for now it's fun as a casual jacket. It's just those back panels - grrrrrrr. Would it bother anyone else the way it...
I've spent today going through my jackets. I've put up a bunch on eBay in an attempt to minimise the collection so I can save up for something special. I have far too many and none are "perfect".
I like this one I picked up in the States but the back sleeve panels bother me. The hide on the...
I've just been quoted £100 by a local leather garment repairman here in London. He seems to have a bunch of really great reviews and also makes custom leather jackets. We'll see... Perhaps I'll visit his store once the apocalypse is over.
I've been acquainted with Mr Himel and from what I've gathered so far, he's a really lovely guy. Super helpful. Adore Himel jackets and I've heard so many great things but I'll definitely have to acquire a few more 0's on my bank statement before I can splurge on one of those bad boys.
Rivetts are great. I think I've spotted a few on a stall in Brick Lane Market in London. They didn't have my size but I remember being impressed by the quality. I already have a vintage "lightening" style jacket that set me back (I kid you not - 30 quid) and it's the most beautiful jacket I own...
Owned one of those too! Grabbed one in a 34" - alas, again too bulky up top. I looked like an American football player. The leather was so nice though that I was half tempted to reline it with thinner fabric and have it taken in around the chest but figured it was far too much work. Perhaps a...
Thank you all for your replies and recommendations. I'm about to set up some search alerts on ebay as suggested. I've found that the best fitting jackets for me all have a ptp width of around 17". XS/32-34" ladies jackets are sure hard to come by but I shan't lose hope! Going to keep searching...
I bought a Berman's a few months back for about $40 but when it arrived it was just too bulky up top so I had to resell. Agree though - quality was pretty decent.
Might have to sell a kidney on the black market and buy myself a Lewis Leathers Memphis. Drool. Aero have a pretty nice ladies jacket...
