    My quibble is its a lazy criticism when people here don't bat an eye spending thousands on other jackets. It seems to be a stand-in for some other basis to dislike the brand. But hey, if you dislike the brand, that's on you. They seem to be doing just fine.

    Engineers just may not be for me, given my wide feet. If I try another pair, I will certainly pick a softer, more pliable leather. Thick horsebutt was a miscalculation on my part. I got wiped up in the current horsebutt frenzy.

    Good to know! IH only produces hits but that Dehen is a heavy hitter. I think they're both fantastic. Do you have a preference? Can't go wrong with either but just from looking at photos online it seems like the IH silhouette is slightly more modern than the Dehen, but photos can be deceiving.
