It's really SUPER hard to confirm that it's her in the photo. Similar build, similar hair length, and that's it.
It's very interesting to me

Nah, I don't think so. The "fanny pack" was mostly a 1990's thing (at least in the USA). Cargo pants; however, have been issued by militaries all around the world for many decades. Both axis and allied forces used them in WWII.

Nope. This doesn't bother me one bit. After wearing a hat, your hair looks like hell. If you think you look better sitting in public with disheveled hair than with a hat on, you're fooling yourself. I see guys wear hats at the table. Doesn't bother me. I've done it too.
In fact, I used to...
Sometimes that easier said than done. I give some latitude to parents with toddlers (since I am one).
What's worse to me is pulling into a parking lot to find a parking spot to get out with your baby and seeing some healthy 20-something dude jump out of his shiny new pickup with his gym...
Umm...it's hot where I live. I wear shorts everyday--almost. But, Those!
Yeah, sorry, those are way too short and way too tight for a man, in my opinion. And I don't understand the belt.

I feel like I'm the only one keeping this thread alive. I can't be the only one who understands and appreciates the sun helmet.
So...let's see 'em.
Show them if you've got them.

Man, you guys are all so stylish! Today, I'm wearing something most people wouldn't be caught dead wearing.
But hey, it's 104° it's humid and I'm working outside today.
I've yet to find a hot weather hat that beats the heat better than one of these.

I advise folks to take it a step down. My official (military) hat size is 7-1/4. So I ordered the standard sized pith helmet. My forehead touches the front of the crown causing my sweat to absorb through the helmet and stain the puggaree on the outside. It also impedes airflow a bit, and as we...
It depends on a few things for me. The size and shape of the man's head and face and what kind of weather he'll be wearing it in.
Otherwise, I like the open crown. I don't see enough of those being worn.

Well alright then! If we're going to cross that line and start sporting our pith helmets in front of folk, I'll go ahead and post a shot next time I'm working outside in mine. LOL! [emoji1]

That's one of the nicest porkpies I've seen. With the shades and the beard, you've got a nice bluesy, jazzy look going.

It's a good look for him. No accident, of course. Movie sets have fashion experts in the wardrobe department. Since Willis has a long narrow face, they put him in the hat in a way that has the brow cut across the brow line to minimize the length of his face to create balance.
I'm no expert but...
