Thanks for the suggestion. Honestly, my pith looks pretty trashy and probably isn't very photogenic. It has dirt smudges on the outside, sweat stains on the pug, and the inside has been highly modified. The inside of the helmet got wet and the liner sagged. I like that palm straw. I have one (different style). Mine is a Tula brand. The other big name (that I know of) is Sun Body. They're actually here in Houston, TX. Tula is in Austin, TX. I'm surprised you found the palm straw too hot. Lots of landscapers here in southeast Texas wear them outside...- totallyfrozen

Oh man! Nice! I always liked the Gus crown. I'd love to wear one but I think the crowns are a bit too tall looking for me. My face shape is a cross between a diamond and an oval. Those gus crowns seem to look better on round faces and square faces to me. I'd be afraid it would make my face look...- totallyfrozen

It's a Northern thing. I grew up eating vanilla ice cream on mine. I now live in Texas where no one seems to have heard of cheddar cheese on apple pie. HELP--Hat band sliding up tapered crown
Well, the pugs I have are the aftermarket wraps with a small hook on each end that fastens to the straw weave. They don't have bows exactly. I tried hit gluing a simple pug band around the crown to act as an anchor of sorts for my more decorative pugs but it didn't work as I'd hoped. Sent from...- totallyfrozen
