New Aero Jacket – Lining question

I second Fanch's suggestion. I have cotton drill, moleskin, and my teamster has cord in the body and moleskin sleeves. If the jacket style has tighter arms as in a premier fit, I could understand the sateen, but it is also less durable. My favorite and most durable lining is moleskin. Not...

    Aero CR too tight

It's worthwhile sending an email to Aero to find out. I suspect with shipping you would be better off selling it. What size is it? It is not a perishable good in that a year or so properly stored might allow you to get back to your "fighting weight". Best of luck!

Thedi Padded Cafe Racer in Italian HH

As a recipient of 2 of your other cafe racers, I'm passing the comment on to my wife too!

    Buttoned winter jacket draft?

I suspect it's not possible. I have speced my teamster as a winter coat, with storm cuffs. The final order has the finished leather as with the highwayman.

Thunder Bay, without shearling. The belt to cinch things down might work well for him.

Black Vincenza Board Racer, Grain from Day One

Absolutely Awsome. Just goes to show how well the snugger fitting styles develop beautiful creasing.

Consider Teamster for my first aero, have some questions.

Eggcarton has a dark seal premier work coat that looks fantastic. I am personally careful about long black leather jackets. As my wife says, they make me look like I might be up to no good.....

I have a teamster on order now with the back yoke from Aero's August jacket.

Aero Sheene - What did you learn from your order?

Protein, I have a size 42 Sheene in seal Vicenza with 0.5" added to each side below the arms, modeled after pawine's cafe racer. 27" back and 27" arms. I'm 5'11", 185 lbs. I also have an August collar, and a front yoke as with Aero's pioneer. I would definitely do slimmer arms, as the...

    FS 2013 Triumph Scrambler

I love my '13 Bonnie. 45-50 mpg, enough power, nimble, and my aftermarket preadators sound great without giving me a headache. I could see adding a bigger bike for long distance touring, but I don't see letting her go.

    Japanese vs Scotland quality

    Very well said.

    Japanese vs Scotland quality

My experience that I've commented on is that the type of leather matters. I have 2 cafe racers, both ordered and came out with identical measurements. The heavy steer one fits more snug and has perfect sleeves. The Vicenza one has more room to layer and the sleeves feel about a half inch...

    Aero board racer with collar?

Thanks gentlemen! My 42 Sheene (cafe racer) in Vincenza was modeled after one I bought from pawine. After a little weight loss it's good for layering. I'm looking ahead for a slimmer cut based on the board racer. Layman looks nice, not sure why he sold it, or if that style is too slim to be...

    New Cordo Bootlegger

Bravo Ton! I'm almost your exact size, and made the mistake of ordering up to my jacket size on my first Aero Highwayman. That thing will mould with you and the color will pop with a little abuse! Great riding jacket!
