Yep... thats the way I also like a jacket to fit - but someone would say you look like "Hulk" in your jacket - like me in my Windwards - but don't worry, you wear it very well !:eusa_clap
yeeeees .... more more more ... button down collar its a nice feature its a kind of a "Flight-Windward". This jacket got face !!!:D
The position of the elasticeated side panels are different - the breast pockets are more "smiling" and are a bit larger.
Do you have any wear pics? Would be much...
Daily wearer - when the heat allows
Thanks Dinermman for the revival and the pics - interesting look with the patch pockets. Someone would say this one doesn't look too busy ...
Here's my keeper after almost 2 years - AERO's Windward in vintage brown FQHH:
Fanch, that a beauty ... seems that you've got a real nice and very dark brown FQHH ... like dark chocolate with a minimum of 70 percent cocao, right? :)
Boyo - you've made a good choice - nothing compares to Aero's cordovan color. I like to match my cordovan FQHH Windward with a pair of Alden shell cordovan (color #8)
AMAZING ....enjoy!
WOW - at first glance it seems to be amazing cordovan - but on your catalogue pose its dark chocolate ... hmm ... very tasty.
Love grainy sleeves. Congrats and thanks for sharing
Here's my VINTAGE brown FQHH Windward ... heavenly grained in most of the parts...
and here' my old REGULAR brown FQHH - which is more smooth with hardly grain ... but the depth of the color is stronger and looks more marbling ... straight out of the box it looks like a brand new jacket...
You have good reasons to smile....Man, thats a P E R F E C T looking and fitting jacket...Congratulation!!!
Therefore I love the FL, because people are willing to share their purchases....keep on sharing!
Thanks
I know exactly what you are talking about - I went from HWM to the Windward and it fits everytime very well at the waist....but aware if you order your size its a short jacket and maybe you need 1" or 2" on the lenght to cover the belt - and then it will be perfect.
I would like to say that the vintage appears more creases because of the lot more grain compared to the regular.
But the tendency to crease and the "number of creases" are very similiar for both.
The pic of the regular was taken straight out of the box - just to mentioned.
here's my experiences with regular FQHH and Vintage FQHH - the same as HD already mentioned....
Regular FQHH - bit stiffer marbling effects - as you can see, its almost impossible to eat my icecream ;)
Vintage FQHH - bit softer and very grainy - hope that helps. As you can see here I am able...
Hello flying tiger, welcome to the lounge. Thanks for your post and the detailed information. Hard to find on the internet real great pics of windward jackets but your pic is just amazing - congrats. Did not think it was initially russet brown and than dyed. I like the detail of A2 stitching...
