YEEEES Man, What a color !! Thats "Phillysound" for my eyes ;) Am I right when I see dark brown on my monitor?
Can you post a few more close ups? Regarding the fit: GREAT! Shoulder looks comfy and will mold - and sleeves will shorten a lot with creasing!
Thanks for posting!
Sure - if your torso is quite short (like mine, I think....) the half belt divides the back for no reason and the back looks distinctly short and stocky.
Its just an optical illusion for most of us.
BUT: On the other hand a one-piece back stretches the impressive of a short torso . . . IMHO...
Caught :eeek: - you're right, Detective Navin - now I'm closer to some of my friends in North America.
Maybe soon I invite you to a glass of red wine - is good for the heart. :cheers1:
A few years ago I've ordered an A-2 in vintage black FQHH from AERO - and it looked just amazing, unfortunately way too short and had to send it back.
But still playing with idea to have a black A-2.
It will be look like this:
just fine because I am also into khaki pants (Bills Khakis)
Great jacket simonc - I think, for me the halfbelt on the back is unfortunately for me not suitable, but for men like you, it looks perfect.
I love the elegance dark brown or cordovan color - dark chocolate, hmmmmm - can't get enough. . . .
I like to agree with HoosierDaddy - it must be 'Vintage' Horsehide from Aero. I still own a Windward in Vintage black FQHH since 2007 - and it look quite the same.
Quite grainy, heavy and relaxed leather with differents parts of grainy and smoother parts.
Here's a pic for comparison:
Hey Navin - great to have you back - a man, a car, a jacket - what else . . . OK, another jacket :D
This is the reason why I always drive black cars, because its easier to match a driver jacket!
Have fun with your amazing new jacket and drive/stay in good health my friend.
Hello sshack . . . you called me ...!?
I think I can give you a good idea how cordovan developed, and btw, without any artificial damage or abuse.
It doesn't has loose its overall dark tone of the jacket - and in direct sunlight it shows very different colors depends on the light... I still...
WOW - great color and great fit - seems that only slender poeple like you can wear a halfbelt back - and yes it looks vintage and the pockets gives it a face ...
Weight? - I would guess 2,73 Kg . . . !?
And the winner is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . !!
