The more expensive the better. LOL
I wore two similar hats one was a now defunct department store in the 60's hat and a Borsalino. Both creased the same. I get compliments on the Borsalino and I think I look better in it.
It wears much more naturally and looks more 'traveled' due to the...
Have another one coming.
Anyone know if I can do a "logo delete" on the knot of the hat?
Would nail polish remover work without destroying the material?
Not sure how it is applied on there. If it is sewn or looped through. If it is looped through perhaps I can rotate it to the back.
I...
Also I fee like an idiot wearing hats. Still not use to it.
I will walk out the house with one on and change my mind and go for the baseball cap.
Not use to it yet. Just a closet hat lover for now.
I know it is blasphemy to ask a well dressed man like you but how does it look in white t-shirt and jeans?
I was thinking about a burgundy hat but wasn't sure if I can pull it off. I am t-shirt and jean guy w/ redwing boots.
As someone new to wearing hats people don’t care or at least I didn’t care what people wear. Only a cowboy hat would demand such attention. I was on the other side at one time.
Since I’ve been wearing hats there are two reactions:
-the stranger that compliments you because he genuinely likes...
I must be going crazy because I'm already looking for the next one. LOL
I am afraid to buy brand new as I heard they no longer make their own felt and they buy hat bodies now. Any truth to this?
My favorite musician hat and I have asked the western hat community if they knew what it was. I want to replicate one. Can be seen in My Favorite Memory video.
How liquidable are hats?
The reason I ask because I may be heading down this path of having what I call a collection. I started off with old cheap, new to like new hats from the 60’s that I no longer like. They are going to Goodwill or tossed in the trash because I don’t think collectors will...
I did it and I’m excited to say I’m a Borsalino owner. Found one of those San Remo Quality Superior with the blue and white tag. I don’t know the age but it has a 1.75 brim and no taper. I hate the taper. It arrived today.
First thoughts, the felt is nothing I have felt before in my short...
Depending on brim size it can block the night’s sun.
A 3” brim would be far more effective than us idiots who where stingy brims according to some in this thread.
One shouldn’t have a spare hat to change for the occasion. An appropriate sized brim hat should be versatile enough for any occasion. I have shorter brims because they are easier to wear and it includes going into the night. I won’t hesitate to put an extra hat in each car just in case. Just...
To be fair I do think wearing a fedora hat over 2 inches at night would be stupid. It is equivalent to wearing sunglasses indoors.
I have shorter brims or trilby for the occasional hat at night scenario.
With that said I don’t think anything shorter than 2 inches isn’t a hat or an idiot for...
