New tab shirt I have been playing around with a bib front, this is a nice heavy red, cream and blue 7oz cotton - they won't be part of the denim kickstarter I am launching next week as SJC but will be coming down the pipe soon.
I wonder if for the short button collars they ever used brass or gold button pins rather than buttons as they did for the top button to gather the tab?
Yes I looked at the Doeskin but its 375 grams whereas the Pilot is 505 grams. Still let's see where this goes. Just not sure about the buttons weather to go bold brass of dulled, dunno.

I think workwear has always operated in tandem with town wear, indeed the stuff I like most is able to be worn in both town and country. Here is a rather nice early Levis shirt with release tab collar.
