I'd go with a longer sleeve for sure IMO. I've had many CXL jackets...but never had the sleeves lengthen with wear, but rather shorten slightly instead.
Showing these finely sewn Himel jackets just illustrates what a customer should expect when ordering. What a real disappointment when getting a wavy uneven poorly stitched example that was allowed to ship out.
Shame that members on a forum had to put a company on the spot to bring out their 'caring'. Then they repeatedly brag about how they are now finally reaching out.....
No There is no maker's label and I just cannot remember where I ordered it from. It is for sale by me with description and price here on the forum in the thread 'Cap question'.
I have one that is well made with nice slightly distressed grained brown leather. It is French seam sewn, satin lined with no brim snap...but cap lays nicely and covers half of the leather 'shapeable' brim. Elastic back will allow med to Xlarge fit. No maker's name but does say made in China...
Seems it comes down to either poor Himel...or poor customer. Is it both?...or is it someone who ordered what supposedly would be a premium leather patterned and sewn jacket and then now must face the hassle of what to do or not do about it.
Well...Different leather jacket brands are and should be welcome here to be reviewed and discussed. The good bad & the ugly whether they are top tier of the elite or production line stock. Sometimes reviewed might come across as exposed...
Why not just begin a new thread about your Himel jacket and it's faults? Then the mods can delete all these other threads that offer no info about the jacket. Yes, just start over.
