Viberg - any other horrible experiences?

I may have that option here as well if I file a dispute with my credit card company. They offer consumer protection. So if I have to I'll go that route. I don't know what the law is in the USA/Canada, but the idea that someone can post a 'no refund' policy on their website, and then hide behind...

Viberg - any other horrible experiences?

Has anyone else had a bad experience with Viberg? I can't believe what I'm going through with these Viberg people...bought a pair of shoes from their site. They arrived and they are not up to par. One of the shoes has very deep creases that run vertically on one side. Not the sort of creases...

Two small scratches on a brand new leather jacket

Don't worry about it. Within a couple weeks of wearing it you'll have scrapes and scratches on it from bumping into a doorway or getting in and out of your car

    Quick Himel Brothers Review

I've bought jackets from them before, and currently have 2 Himels that I'm super happy with, but the ordering process can be arduous and it felt a bit like I was dealing with Gilligan or the 3 stooges lol. For my Imperial order, I sent them a fit jacket which was actually one of their Canucks...

    Aero Board Racer: Fit Advice

I think it looks great in the photos. It's only too tight if it's pulling at the zipper when you zip it up. One thing about this particular jacket is Aero makes them with sleeves that are curved to the point that it will feel tight in the upper chest/shoulder area when you have your arms down at...

Aero Highwayman with a Plain Back?

I've had both highwayman fits in CXL. I didn't like the premiere in CXL. Main issue for me was the collar and neck hole which have a vertical oblong shape (as opposed to round) which causes the collar to always be squeezing into your neck at the sides. I also have a premiere half-belt in vicenza...

Aero Highwayman with a Plain Back?

well, I had an Aero Chips done with a plain back and gussets, and it was great. Not far off from a Highwayman, but the Chips did fit slightly slimmer. Another cool jacket that I stupidly sold lol

Aero Highwayman with a Plain Back?

Regular. Had a Premiere version once but didn't like it, and I sold my regular to get that Premier!

Aero Highwayman with a Plain Back?

I stupidly sold my Highwayman and am thinking about getting another. Thinking about doing a plain back with shoulder gussets. I love the back yoke but I've got another jacket w/that same yoke style, so trying to add some variety. Anyway, has anyone done one with a plain back and shoulder...

What would you tell your former self about ordering a custom Aero?

I'm going to add to this list: don't buy an aero jacket with the Premier collar in CXL. The neck hole is shaped like a vertical button hole, and the collar digs into the sides of your neck. You'll feel it too with their softer more forgiving leathers, but it's not as bothersome. But the CXL...

Horween or Shinki- Whose horse is your pick?

I own several jackets in shinki, one in horween cxl and one in vicenza, and the cxl is the only one I feel OK about wearing out on a rainy day. And I live in Seattle, the rain capital of the USA LOL. That said, I prefer the shinki for the look, weight, and feel

First Aero Leather advice - lightweight CXFQHH or Pinnacle?

I'll disagree in that based on my experience I wouldn't recommend the regular/heavy CXL for anything 'slim-cut'. With the exception of something like the Ridley. The more generous neck hole and shoulder gussets help make that style wearable in the heavy CXL.

Aero Highwayman Length Check Help Needed

It looks like there's nothing wrong with it...it looks the way it's designed to imo. Personally I like mine with a tad extra length, but that's just me. Some of the fans of short jackets here would tell me some of my jackets are too long and are abominations LOL

The short length of Aero-leather CR

If you've got a disproportionately short torso is it advisable to go with a short jacket? A little length might help balance you out. I have the opposite problem, my torso is long in proportion to my arms and legs. I've heard that a short jacket in my case will help balance out my look, but...
